George and Annie Drew's collection of papers about the history of Washington and the Pacific Northwest, 1961-1972 1964-1969.

This collection consists of 4 notebooks with one boxed and a binder that were collected, compiled and written by George Drew and his wife, Annie Drew. During the 1960's the Drews were researching the history of Washington. The research turned into a series of notebooks that covered different aspects of Washington State history. They took Eastman Kodacolor photographs along the trails that included historic markers and original locations. This collection contains approximately 242 photographs. The majority of the photographs are color however there are some black and white photographs and color postcards in the notebooks. There were a few maps interspersed within the notebooks. These maps are housed separately in Box 2. There are some maps sketched by George Drew to describe locations they visited.
